Our Services

  • This is a chance for us speak by phone or video before our first appointment. This is a free, brief 15-minute process to gather basic information about why you’re considering therapy and help you decide whether to book your first appointment with me. We will also cover insurance or self-pay information during this time.

  • This occurs following your brief phone consultation. This process is meant to gather information to assess an individuals behavioral health needs. This will include information such as Personal History, Presenting and Historical Symptoms, Use of drugs/alcohol, childhood history, social activities, family circumstances, nutrition, spirituality, safety assessment, and any other information that may be pertinent to treatment. This information helps me determine the best treatment approach for the presenting problem or current mental status. I will share the results of the diagnostic assessment and review treatment options at your second appointment.

    Common treatment options include:

    Individual Counseling

    Family Counseling

    Substance Use Treatment

    Trauma Processing

    Psychoeducation

    Grief Counseling

    Couples Counseling

    Anger Management

    Sex Therapy

Following this assessment, if a specific treatment is recommended that is outside of my specialty, I will provide referrals (i.e. intensive trauma therapies such as EMDR)

  • These are regular therapy visits based of the information and results of the diagnostic assessment. Treatment goals will be set for therapy sessions and progress tracked throughout treatment. Common treatment includes individual, family, child, or couples counseling. Common therapeutic modalities used include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, sex therapy, interpersonal therapy, and others. I do not provide intensive therapy for trauma (such as EMDR) or addiction (IOP), though may work with non-complex trauma and addiction through other modalities.
